Job summary

OnetoOne Personnel is recruiting a Supply Planner in Basildon, Essex. You will own supply planning, manage purchase orders and coordinate with CMOs to ensure products meet demand. The role operates in a regulated environment with Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours and up to £50,000 per year.

You will liaise with Demand Planning, Commercial, Logistics and Finance, monitor supplier performance, and drive improvements in supply chain efficiency while balancing inventory and lead times.

Qualifications

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs).
• Experience UK Supply Planning, Production Planning, Procurement, or Operations in manufacturing or regulated environments.
• Experience managing purchase orders and supplier relationships, monitoring production schedules and delivery performance.
• Experience using an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, replenishment planning and supplier management.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organisational skills with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Create, issue and manage purchase orders with CMOs and external suppliers.
• Monitor orders from placement through production to receipt and ensure timelines are met.
• Communicate with suppliers on production schedules, capacity constraints and delivery dates.
• Track supplier performance including OTIF and service levels.
• Review forecast changes and their impact on supplier requirements and inventory.
• Monitor inventory and recommend replenishment to maintain stock levels.
• Produce regular reports on supplier performance, order status and supply plan adherence.
• Support monthly supply reviews, scenario planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
