Job summary

Sysco GB in Ashford is looking for a Supply Planner to join the Product Supply team on a full-time permanent basis. You will manage stock and availability for a group of food categories, collaborating with internal teams to ensure an optimal customer experience.

This role offers hybrid working with three days in the Ashford office after training; hours are Mon-Fri 39 per week, 8am–5pm, with Sunday rota duties (roughly 1 in 4).

Responsibilities

• Process internal and external purchase orders in line with ERP requirements.
• Maintain company stock and end-to-end service levels.

• Build long-term solutions for SKU groups.
• Analyse pre-generated reports and act on insights.

Brakes have an opportunity for aSupply Plannerto join the Product Supply team on a full time, permanent basis. The role is based at our Ashford office and reports to the Supply Manager. It will be yourresponsibility to manage stock and its availability for a specific group of food categories (SKUs) to ensure achievement of the pre-determined company targets, whilst working closely with internal teams to ensure we are providingan optimumcustomer experience.

Our role is offering hybrid working with3 days a week in the Ashford office after the intial training period, so you must be within a commutable distance. The site has good transport links and free car park for colleagues.

The hours for this role are Monday-Friday 39 hours per week, 8am - 5pm, (this includes working bank holidays), and there is a requirement to cover a Sunday on a rota basis, (usually 1 in 4). You will receive time in lieu for working bank holidays.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

• Process internal and external purchase orders in line with requirements of specific ERP platforms.
• Maintainingcompany owned stock and end-to-end service levels.
• Taking a leading role in developing andmaintaininginternal and external relationships.
• Report on issues that mayimpactKPIs.
• Report on supplier performance levels and stock holding/stock values.
• Build long term solutions to resolve issues in your SKU group.
• Evaluate and take necessary action for several pre generated reports.
• Achieve set KPIs on customer availability at point of order (FTA) and availability at point of delivery (DSL).
• Ensure waste is kept to a minimum and within business targets.
• Work closely with a portfolio of external suppliers.
• Attend supply meetings where necessary.

About you:

Thesuccessful candidate will be a confident individual who is people-oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and pressurised environment, so experience within an FMCG environment is highly desirable.You’llhave excellent customer service and communication skills and enjoy dealing withdifferent levelsof people across the business from other departments. You will ideally have a good working knowledge and understanding of SAP systems. As a suitable candidate you will have excellent organisation skills andhave the ability toprioritise your workload ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
