About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Supply Planner to join Booker, based out of either Hemel Hempstead or Wellingborough. Joining the wider product supply team, you will take responsibility for achieving and maximising Company product availability targets through careful planning and working closely with internal and external stakeholders.
To apply for this role you should be able to commit to working 38 hours a week Monday to Friday
You will be required to work in the office at least 2-3 days a week
This role can be based out of Hemel Hempstead, Maxted Road, HP2 7DX or Irthlingborough Rd, Wellingborough, NN8 1LT

You will need
To be successful in this role you will have to be an excellent communicator with ability to negotiate and influence at all levels for both internal and external stakeholders.
You will have excellent organisation and time management skills, be able to prioritise and keep to tight deadlines.
You'll have a strong customer service orientation, good analytical skills, Basic/ Intermediate working knowledge of Excel, strong attention to detail.
Work on your own initiative with a pro-active approach to tasks and be able to think outside the box when it comes to problem solving.
Ideally, you will have had some previous procurement or supply chain/ retail experience and some knowledge of supply chain ordering systems, sales forecasting experience, but full training will be given.
GCSE or equivalent Maths and English grade C or above.
Desirable: Suitable supply chain professional qualification or an interest in studying for one or Educated to degree level
