South Ayrshire Council is seeking a housing support worker to assist residents in temporary accommodations. This supply/casual position requires flexibility to work shifts, and candidates must be members of the PVG Scheme. The role is essential in delivering frontline housing services and supporting vulnerable individuals in the community.
Location: Various Locations within South Ayrshire, KA7 1DR
Rate: £14.43 per hour

Under the direction of the Team Leader (Hostels and Supported Accommodation), provide a housing support service to residents within Viewfield Gate, Secession House, Elba Gardens and other homeless temporary accommodation.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made. It should be noted that successful candidates will be placed on a bank list and contacted to work dependent on service requirements.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake shift work (day shift and night shift) over 7 days.
