About the Opportunity

The Supply Forecasting Specialist will work across the Berry Patch to support the UK Supply Forecasting & Planning team with collecting, reporting, and analyzing data from growers' forecasts and field visits. The role involves staying in close contact with growers and internal stakeholders on a short and mid-term scope (0-52 weeks). The department will use this data to provide accurate information for business decisions aligned with Driscoll’s Mission, Vision, and values.

This role involves an office (30%) and field visits (70%), with occasional travel across EMEA.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct weekly field visits to collect production data and project volumes.
  2. Analyze crop development and weather impact to predict production volumes accurately.
  3. Update databases and tools for short-term forecast and strategic planning.
  4. Monitor forecast accuracy and improve processes.
  5. Support supply forecasting and planning with relevant data.
  6. Maintain close contact with growers, operations, supply chain, and other stakeholders.
  7. Collaborate with managers and regional teams.
  8. Develop analytical skills to support regional and departmental growth.
Candidate Profile
Requirements

Academic Degree: Bachelor's in Agriculture with knowledge of Data Analytics and Statistics.

Experience: 0-2 years in horticulture crops and data analysis.

Experience Areas: Crop science.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) - Advanced
  • Statistics and data analysis - Intermediate
  • Driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in cross-functional teams involving agronomy, meteorology, and data science.
  • Flexibility to work in diverse environments.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
