Duties as Food Technology Teacher:

1. Deliver engaging and practical Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
2. Teach students essential cooking skills, nutrition, food safety, and healthy eating principles.
3. Encourage creativity, independence, and a love of cooking among students.
4. Ensure high standards of health and safety in food preparation areas.
5. Adapt to different school settings and follow lesson plans or create your own when required.

Minimum requirements:

1. Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
2. Has experience teaching Food Technology or a related Design Technology subject.
3. Is passionate about food education and inspiring students' practical skills as a Food Technology Teacher.
4. Is flexible, adaptable, and confident managing classroom behaviour.
5. Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
