Duties as an English Teacher:

1. Deliver pre-planned English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable).
2. Inspire a love of literature, language, and creative writing in students.
3. Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment, maintaining high standards of behaviour and academic progress.
4. Adapt to different school settings and effectively manage classrooms.
5. Support the smooth continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher.
6. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
7. Have experience teaching English at secondary school level.
8. Be flexible, reliable, and adaptable to different school environments.
9. Possess a passion for literature and language, with the ability to inspire students.
10. Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of students.
