For the role of Play Assistant, there is no formal entry requirement; however, you will be required to work towards a childcare qualification.

For the role of Early Childhood Practitioner, you should hold an appropriate qualification, e.g., SNNEB, NNEB, HNC, SCQF level 7 equivalent, SVQ 3 in Childcare and Education, or SVQ 3 Social Services (Children and Young People), and be eligible to register with SSSC.
