ADI Global Distribution now has an opportunity for a Supply & Demand Planning Manager to join the team based at our UK Head Office in Chadderton, Manchester, on a hybrid work pattern.
As the Supply & Demand Planning Manager, you will lead a team responsible for managing inventory from suppliers to customers, providing leadership and direction.
Job Duties:
- Lead the Supply & Demand Planning team with daily leadership and coaching.
- Act as the key interface with in-country leadership for all Supply & Demand Planning and Stock Management issues.
- Ensure SAP functionality for MRP optimizes in-stock performance within inventory targets.
- Align inventory forecasts with stakeholders using Integrated Business Planning processes.
- Drive improvements on key performance metrics.
- Oversee processing and expediting stock orders, liaising with suppliers on stock issues and invoice resolutions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Resolve supplier invoice disputes collaboratively with relevant teams.
- Provide delivery date information to cross-functional teams.
- Oversee the import of goods from vendors and freight forwarders.
- Support inventory data needs for category managers.
- Develop and support planning technology initiatives.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Proven experience managing a Demand or Supply Planning team or similar supply chain leadership role.
- Strong stakeholder management skills internally and externally.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate across leadership teams.
- Statistical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and initiative.
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, delegation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adapt in a fast-moving environment.
