Cover Supervisor
Mainstream Secondary School | Full-time & Part-time | Mon–Fri, 8:30am–3:30pm

Looking to gain real classroom experience? Or fancy a flexible role that fits into the school day?

We’re on the lookout for confident, reliable Cover Supervisors to join a thriving secondary school. You’ll be stepping into classrooms to support learning when teachers are away—making sure students stay focused, engaged, and on task.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Supervising whole classes across Years 7–11 during teacher absences

  • Delivering pre-set work and keeping students on track

  • Managing behaviour and promoting a calm, productive atmosphere

  • Using your initiative to support students and adapt to the school’s routine

  • Acting as a positive role model in the classroom

You’ll Be a Great Fit If You:
  • Have strong communication skills and a confident classroom presence

  • Enjoy working with young people and have a proactive attitude

  • Can think on your feet and keep students engaged

  • Have academic knowledge and/or classroom or youth-based experience

This is ideal for aspiring teachers, graduates, or anyone with experience in youth work, coaching, tutoring, or similar.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
