We are currently looking for a Consultant to support our growth. The new joiner will start his/her career in Miebach collaborate with clients and project teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and contribute to cost savings, understanding and modeling the Clients current operational processes, identifying main pain points, defining and developing solutions, and supporting implementation activities.

This role presents an excellent career opportunity to develop supply chain modelling and design skills in multiple industries in an international environment. This position requires domestic travel depending on project requirements.

  • Data Analysis: Collect, inspect, clean, transform, and model client data to identify the current operational status and identify pain points, inefficiencies, or improvement areas.
  • Solution Development: In collaboration with the teamwork (senior consultant and project director) come up with solutions, strategies and/or scenarios to enhance the client supply chain. Deep dive into solution technical aspects and analysis to calculate savings, evaluate the best solution and build roadmaps or support the implementation process.
  • Implementation Assistance: Aid clients in understanding or implementing the selected solutions, working alongside project teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Client Engagement and Interaction: Keep track of delivery and validation activities from the client side. Maintain effective client communication and assist in managing client expectations.
  • Documentation: Create, update, upkeep, and store project documentation, both for clients and for internal reference or reuse.
  • Project Tracking: Analyze the development of the assigned tasks, in order to share planning or execution risks with the Project Director
  • Continuous improvement: Active participation (as long as the dedication to clients' projects allows it) in internal projects aiming to identify, analyze, and improve internal processes or services, to increase efficiency, improve quality, and value delivery while minimizing downtime, overprocessing, mistakes and human potential.
  • Order Entry Support: Engage in offers and tenders development, as long as the dedication to clients' projects allows it.
  • Degree in Engineering (Industrial / Mechanical / Logistics …), Supply Chain, Business or a related field
  • Other similar degrees / Masters could be accepted if logical capacities are proven.
  • Coupa - Supply Chain Design Foundations Certification (a plus)
  • Coupa - Supply Chain Network Optimization Certification (a plus)
  • APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (a plus)
  • Lean/ Six Sigma Black Belt (a plus)
  • Data Analytics (a plus)
  • 1-4 years of relevant supply chain consultancy experience is required.
  • Experience modeling optimization problems and/or using supply chain design tools and/or intra-logistical and logistical-conceptual projects, hand to hand with the client’s teamwork
  • Track record of implementing effective supply chain solutions
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and goal-setting abilities
  • Clearly and empathetical communication, people-oriented, team collaboration, adaptability and competencies
  • Proven project management experience (preferable)
  • Languages: English native. Other Language are a plus. German, Spanish and French languages are highly valuable
  • You will participate in large-scale Supply Chain decisions for significant improvements in Service, Inventory, Cost, Investments and Carbon Emissions for our customers.
  • You will be in direct contact with relevant key supply chain stakeholders and decision makers and help them deciding on their sourcing, industrial, distribution, transportation, inventory, and route to market strategic decisions.
