ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The successful candidate will work as part of a team responsible for the setup, configuration, and ongoing support of KBR’s supply chain systems on various projects globally. The role suits someone who enjoys variety in their work and can adapt challenges into process or systems improvements while ensuring compliance with global policies and procedures.

This exciting opportunity involves working closely with key stakeholders and department leads. Effective communication with internal and external customers is essential for successful data transfer and project delivery. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying key reports for project and corporate use. Data analysis and clear reporting are crucial skills.

KBR uses both bespoke and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) systems. Experience with the administration and configuration of systems such as SharePoint (Cloud), SharePoint Workflow / Nintex, SAP, Oracle Database (SQL for data extraction), SSRS / Power BI, and PowerApps would be advantageous.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with IT teams to bring systems online to meet project schedules.
  2. Assessing and configuring systems based on project requirements.
  3. Providing support and administration, including creating user guides and training.
  4. Developing and deploying reports using SSRS and Power BI.
  5. Working with IT to define functional requirements for system development or modifications.
  6. Identifying opportunities for automated data exchange in EPC projects.
  7. Enhancing reporting capabilities by sourcing new data sets and measurement techniques.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING (EXPERIENCE & BEHAVIOURS)

  • Good working knowledge of IT technologies.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Access.
  • Proven experience in systems support and implementation.
  • Experience in business reporting and report writing.
  • Technical expertise in at least two of the following: SSRS, Power BI, SQL (Oracle or MS SQL-Server).
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to explain complex data issues clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation skills and confidence in presenting.
  • Ability to see both the big picture and detailed tasks.
  • Innovative, flexible, and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and shifting priorities.
  • Team-oriented, trustworthy, and supportive.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
  • Organized with good planning and delegation skills.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED (QUALIFICATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS):

  • BSc in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server databases, especially SQL.
  • Understanding of supply chain processes.
  • Experience with data reporting tools like MS SSRS or Power BI.

DESIRABLE/PREFERRED

  • Supply chain background.
  • Experience in EPC projects within the Energy sector.
