Job description

We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain Management SME to support one of our clients in delivering a key strategic business initiative. This pivotal role will serve as the link between operational insight and strategic execution, enabling the business to transition from a start-up style operation to a more mature, efficient, and professional supply chain model.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the lead authority on supply chain processes and strategy within the organisation
  2. Evaluate and enhance the existing operating model, including claims fulfilment, logistics, and repair/replacement supply chains
  3. Identify operational inefficiencies and implement swift, effective improvements
  4. Contribute to the development of a long-term supply chain strategy aligned with the organisation’s overarching vision
  5. Collaborate on the creation of a robust data architecture to support future AI-driven initiatives
  6. Support the design and implementation of scalable logistics and inventory solutions

Minimum Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in supply chain management, ideally within technology, insurance, or logistics-intensive industries
  2. Demonstrated success managing distributed operations and high-volume fulfilment environments
  3. Experience in mobile device insurance supply chain operations is desirable but not essential
  4. Understanding of claims fulfilment processes, including repair and replacement models
  5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and functions
  6. Confident engaging with C-suite executives and providing guidance on operational strategy
