Supply Chain Quality Specialist

Location: Filton, Bristol
Requirement: Hybrid minimum 3 days on site
Pay type: PAYE or Umbrella rates available
Contract length: Around 8 months, probsble extension

About the Role
The Supply Chain Quality Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless introduction of new products and the
efficient transfer of work within this company's operations. Reporting to the Head of the Sheet Metal Parts Procurement department, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, assessing capabilities, and driving quality improvements across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to strategic decisions and supplier selection as part of the Multi-Functional Team (MFT)
• Ensure industrial qualification maturity is completed before the serial production phase
• Perform risk management and provide early warnings to the MFT and management
• Support the Supply Chain Quality Managers with compliance, industrial maturity, and non-conformity resolution
• Analyse quality data and coordinate recovery, improvement, and development plans

Required Skills and Experience

• Ability to manage supplier relationships and drive quality improvements
• Knowledge of APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) and quality management systems
• Risk analysis experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-functional team environment
