Job Role: Supply Chain Project Manager

Location: Derbyshire

Shift: Mon - Thu (08:00am - 16:45pm) / Friday 08:00am - 12:30pm

Job Type: FTC - 9-12 months (with the potential to extend)

Salary: up to £45k

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects across the whole Supply Chain function to agreed timelines, desired outputs, and within set budget.
  • Focus areas include Customer/Supplier demand, signal, and Inventory Management.
  • Ensure the efficient movement of materials, minimize costs, and meet customer demand using tools for real-time visibility and insights into supply chain performance.
The Candidate:
  • Work closely with key department stakeholders on projects to develop and execute solutions supporting business goals.
  • Monitor project details and status, prepare updates and reports.
  • Identify and resolve project issues, escalate decisions and issues as needed.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support development and control of inventory and demand strategy.
  • Generate and maintain business metrics for supply and delivery performance.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction and quality improvement opportunities.
  • Support business development, growth, and improvement projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Utilize Power BI to visualize and analyze supply chain data, create dashboards, and reports for real-time insights.
  • Use Power BI for predictive analytics and forecasting to anticipate future supply chain needs and challenges.
