Programme Manager - Supply Chain

- Belfast / Hybrid Working
- £51,500 per annum
- 36 hours per week
- Interim Contract

VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a leading employer in the Belfast area with the recruitment of a Supply Chain Programme Manager to join their team on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation at the forefront of its sector, supporting the successful delivery of high-value and complex programmes across a global supply chain network.

The Role:

As Programme Manager, you will take responsibility for supplier performance, programme delivery, and cross-functional collaboration. Working closely with senior stakeholders and external suppliers, you will ensure effective controls, planning, and successful project outcomes. You will lead and coach a team of support staff, managing performance and driving delivery through effective leadership and governance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Programme management across all phases of supply chain operations
  • Managing planning, schedule adherence, and business control processes
  • Acting as the main point of contact for external suppliers and customers
  • Leading and coaching a small programme support team
  • Developing and maintaining management information systems and reporting metrics
  • Supporting cross-site work transfer activity in collaboration with other programme teams


The Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in engineering or business with a minimum of 5 years' relevant programme or operational experience
    OR
    An HNC in engineering or business with a minimum of 8 years' relevant experience
  • Proven track record working in aerospace, manufacturing or engineering sectors
  • Confident in stakeholder engagement at senior level and experienced in supplier/customer interfaces
  • Strong leadership, motivational and team management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to drive progress in a complex, fast-moving environment
