A leading entertainment company in the UK is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to oversee third-party warehousing and logistics. The role includes managing production schedules and ensuring alignment with internal departments for efficient product delivery across Europe. Candidates should have substantial experience in supply chain management and strong analytical skills. This is a fixed-term contract for 9-12 months with competitive terms.
Day-to-day management of our third-party warehousing partners to ensure accurate delivery, planning, assembly, and distribution of all products across Europe.
Review and analyze sales forecasts and inventory data to create optimal weekly production schedules with minimal inventory exposure.
Assess risks and gaps within the production schedule and communicate appropriately within the Sales organization through daily and weekly reports.
Maintain close liaison with the Operations Packaging Manager and team to plan packaging production efficiently, ensuring arrival dates align with assembly timelines, local requirements, and product release dates.
Provide accurate and timely bundle forecasts for the department and wider business on a weekly and monthly basis.
Ensure the entire supply planning process is well maintained to meet business needs and service levels for hardware supply into managed warehouses and distributor warehouses.
Manage communication effectively to ensure all manufacturing and assembly stages are aligned, and partners are informed of issues or major changes.
Collaborate with internal departments to improve sales planning and new product release processes.
Continuously seek to improve processes and reporting methods by providing ideas and driving change.
Liaise with territories to improve communication channels and share ideas and knowledge.
Proactively identify potential issues and challenge current procedures to improve performance and efficiency.
Escalate critical issues and update senior management on activities within the supply planning area.
