Your role

A project planner works as part of the project delivery team and is accountable for developing and maintaining work package schedules. The project planner will be the planning and scheduling SME, supporting the team, and building robust work package schedules that capture 100% of the work scope. These schedules must be built in accordance with SMR planning processes and guidelines. Once established, the project planner updates the schedules based on work progress and analyzes schedule data to compare forecast and baseline dates, advising the team on corrective actions.

Your Profile
Knowledge And Experience Of Working Within An Integrated Programme
  • Knowledge and experience of the structure and reporting of a Master Integrated Plan (MIP) or Integrated Master Plan (IMS) and its associated Integrated milestone schedule (Horizontal and Vertical Logic).
  • Experience working with key stakeholders within the integrated Programme (Engineering, Supply Chain & Procurement, Programme Management, Operations, and Manufacturing).
Knowledge of project management tools, systems, and processes
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 (both scheduling and architecture, including WBS, resource dictionaries, coding, and user-defined fields).
  • Experience with Earned Value Management and EVM systems.
  • Knowledge of change management and baseline change control processes.
Desirable
  • Technical knowledge of Nuclear and Engineering programmes.
  • Experience working in the Nuclear sector and on complex programmes.
  • Understanding of Engineering design maturity.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Primavera P6 (Practitioner) – Mandatory.
  • APM PMQ or equivalent – Mandatory.
  • APM PPC (Practitioner) or equivalent – Ideally.
  • Experience working on complex programmes within a project controls environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls including Earned Value, Change Control, and baseline management.
