The Position
At our site in Eindhoven we develop and produce innovative Transmission Microscopes. It takes around a year to build and test these high end systems before we can ship it to our customers. Due to unique customer requirements, experimental projects or unforeseen issues during production, Non Standard Requests (NSRs) can arise. In this role as NSR Planner you will take care of requests that deviate from the established procedures, specification or standards in the manufacturing process. NSRs usually require a thorough review and approval process to ensure that any deviations do not compromise product quality, safety, or compliance with regulations. The NSR Planner works on planning, executing, and deploying Non Standard Requests (NSR) from inception to customer adoption.
NSRs can have significant impact on the supply chain because they often require unique components with different purchasing and manufacturing lead times and it requires customer specific planning methods and inventory controls. To be successful, intensive interaction with stakeholders (i.e., Procurement, Engineering, R&D, Product Marketing etc.) is mandatory. Our ultimate goal is to deliver the perfect order to all our end-users. In this role as NSR Planner you will be part of the Systems & Module Planning team and report to the Planning Manager.
