I am partnering with a well-known Pharmaceutical client who is looking for a Supply Chain Planner with extensive planning and supply skills to join their vibrant and high-performing supply chain team. We are seeking a supply chain professional with experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including work with raw materials, finished products, 3PL providers, and distribution hubs.

We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual who is a team player with excellent communication skills, and a strategic yet hands-on approach.

The role is a fixed-term contract for 1 year and offers hybrid working, with ½ days per week in the office.

  1. Forecasting and demand management for raw materials and finished products.
  2. Procurement of raw materials and supply chain services.
  3. Management of raw material, intermediate, and finished product inventory.
  4. Management of supply chain service providers.
  5. Supporting performance metrics communication.
  6. Supporting supply chain projects as required.
  7. Taking an active interest in personal development.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • End-to-end supply chain management, from forecasting and procurement to delivery into 3PLs and distribution hubs.
  • Supporting S&OP processes to ensure alignment with commercial operations.
  • Monitoring supply chain OPEX and CoG budgets.
  • Supporting inventory strategies to ensure supply continuity and reduce write-offs.
  • Managing relationships with suppliers and service providers, ensuring procurement complies with agreements.
  • Supporting initiatives to improve compliance, efficiency, and cost performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to investigate deviations and manage change.
  • Training supply chain coordinators and interns as required.
  • Maintaining full compliance with GMP/GDP, policies, and applicable laws.
