A leading supply chain management firm in Stockport is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage vendor relationships and stock inventory. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of experience in the FMCG industry and strong organizational skills. Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management within the FMCG industry.
• Experience as a Supply Chain Planner.
• Fluency in additional languages is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• To build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors.
• To ensure deliveries are scheduled and arrive to the warehouse on time.
• To manage stock inventory levels and place orders for additional stock as necessary.
• To manage product changes and support phase in and phase out processes.

Main duties: To be responsible for supply chain management for the company.

The role:
– To build and maintain strong working relationships with vendors
– To ensure deliveries are scheduled and arrive to the warehouse on time
– To manage stock inventory levels and place orders for additional stock as necessary
– To manage product changes and support phase in and phase out processes
– To work within the ERP system and log changes in product, suppliers, inventory and order quantities

Candidate's Profile

– Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management within the FMCG industry – Essential
– Experience as a Supply Chain Planner – Essential
– Fluency in Spanish, German or French would be an additional bonus
– Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail
– Proactive, confident and dynamic personality
– Excellent communication skills and a team player
– IT literate
