I am partnering with a well-known Pharmaceutical company based close to Slough, they are looking for a Demand Planner who is responsible for forecasting product demand, coordinating with marketing and sales teams, and ensuring that inventory levels are aligned with the forecast.

The ideal candidate will come from a Pharmaceutical or consumer goods background with strong skills in systems (SAP), forecasting, and experience working in a high-performing team.

The role is a 15-month contract with a salary of circa £40,000 plus bonus.

Hybrid working: 1 day per week in the office.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with affiliates and third parties to publish monthly demand forecasts and provide related reporting.
  2. Lead the implementation of demand and replenishment planning tools.
  3. Act as super user for demand and replenishment planning tools, maintaining master data, structures, and approval workflows in Product Data Hub.
  4. Maintain supply to meet patient needs through inventory control and system updates.
  5. Interface with internal stakeholders, including affiliates, contract packaging sites, suppliers, and third-party customers, to ensure supply continuity.
  6. Publish approved monthly demand forecasts for all managed products.
  7. Adjust sales history data within planning tools to improve forecast accuracy.
  8. Generate statistical demand forecasts based on sales history.
  9. Communicate with affiliates and third parties to gather market intelligence and adjust forecasts accordingly.
  10. Provide monthly reports on forecast accuracy and identify areas for improvement.
