Purpose Of The Job:To effectively maintain an ordering pattern that provides sufficient stock levels for a variable demand product portfolio and at the same time meet targets for product availability and stock holding value. In addition to support the needs of the business in the re-sourcing and sourcing of products that give continued added value, whilst providing quick and appropriate answers to all queries from all areas.
Key Duties:Main Duties/Responsibilities and Knowledge/Skills Requirements:- Continually monitor stock levels, place & expedite appropriate PO’s (DIRECTS, STOCK & SPECIALS).
- Ensure DIRECT deliveries happen on time and invoicing is up to date. Flag delivery issues with Customer Care Team.
- Take immediate corrective action when backorders occur or potential supply issues are identified.
- Provide key suppliers with forecast demand data.
- Daily response of sorting hat queries.
- Maintain lead time & delivery date information in appropriate systems.
- Identify opportunities to spot buy or re-source to improve cost of supply.
- Monitor sku’s to maintain in line with stock keeping policies and are allocated the correct segmentation.
- PPQ’s (Pre-Purchase questionnaire).
KPI’s & Measures:- Stock line product availability A&B 100%, C&D 97%, E&F 95%.
- Corrective action taken on backorders in 24 hours.
- All stock & direct delivery info kept up to date.
- Sorting hat responses within 24 hours.
