A leading employee-owned company in Grantham is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Planner to optimize their supply chain and inventory processes. We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Supply Chain Planner to optimise their supply chain and stock planning processes, helping them maintain product availability while supporting efficiency across the business.
What You ll Do
- Forecast demand and plan stock replenishment
- Optimise inventory levels using lean principles (e.g. JIT, EOQ, ABC analysis)
- Monitor stock movement, reduce overstock and obsolescence
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to align supply with demand
- Analyse trends, produce planning reports, and support decision-making
- Help implement new inventory systems and improve processes
What You ll Bring
- 5+ years in supply chain, stock planning, or inventory management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Experience with planning tools and stock control software
- Excellent communication and supplier management skills
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and supply chain best practices
