Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis.
• GCSE Maths & English or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Previous experience in materials management and supply chain administration preferred.
• Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.
• Experience within a GxP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring vendor orders are placed on time and stock levels are maintained.
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries.
• Collaborating with account handlers and other departments to maintain accurate forecasts.
• Maintaining system integrity for MRP execution.
• Controlling and monitoring inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring inventory requests are fulfilled promptly.
• Raising documentation within the Quality Management System.

Skills

We’re currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Planner to join the Warehouse and Supply Chain (WSC) team. In this role, you will oversee the product supply chain operation from forecasting to obsoletion of products.

Your responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring vendor orders are placed on time and stock levels are maintained
• Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and complete deliveries, resolving issues as needed
• Collaborating with account handlers and other departments to maintain accurate forecasts
• Maintaining system integrity—creating parts, managing units of measure, purchasing, and issuing pack sizes, ensuring timely transactions for successful MRP execution
• Controlling and monitoring inventory accuracy, including cycle counts and annual stock checks; reviewing excess and obsolete stock levels and taking appropriate actions
• Ensuring inventory requests are fulfilled promptly, working closely with internal departments to meet high customer service standards
• Raising documentation within the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with company standards
• Providing administrative support to the function
