Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and independent Health & Wellness brand based in Brighton. This fast-growing entrepreneurial brand is looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join their team as the Supply Chain & NPD Production Manager.

This is a 10+ year-old, founder-led health and wellness brand, specialising in luxury health supplements. They are renowned for producing some of the highest quality omega-3, collagen, magnesium, and vitamin D products in the market.

Their core business is direct-to-consumer, enabling them to build close relationships with their customers. They’re a close-knit team with a mission-driven culture that values mental health, balance, and genuine connection with their community. They have no external investors and big plans for the future.

As the Supply Chain & NPD Production Manager, you’ll have the autonomy to lead end-to-end operations and play a key part in their next phase of growth, reporting directly to the Head of Product & Innovation.

You will own the end-to-end management of new product development and the supply chain. This includes overseeing production, supplier management, logistics, regulatory compliance, and margin optimisation, while ensuring high-quality standards are maintained at every step.

This role requires a solution-driven mindset, exceptional organisational skills, and the ability to thrive under pressure. You will lead both strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations that directly impact the business’s growth and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage stock systems, production forecasts, and inventory planning.
Drive cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies to protect margins.
Develop production processes, guidelines, and best practices.
Oversee sustainable packaging development and supplier negotiations.
Lead onboarding of new manufacturers and manage new product launch processes.
Maintain quality assurance across production and ensure regulatory compliance.
Build business cases for new products, managing costs, pricing, and investments.
Oversee production runs for testing, validation, and continuous improvement.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Degree-level education with strong academic achievements.
Experience in a production management or supply chain role, ideally in the health supplement industry.
Expertise in managing large-scale supply chains, including supplier contracts, SLAs, and quality control processes.
Solid understanding of relevant compliance standards for supplements in the UK (US experience is a plus).
Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in managing and interpreting forecast data.
Strong communication and negotiation abilities to maintain high supplier standards.
Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
High attention to detail, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
Passion for health, wellness, and nutrition is a plus.
Experience in launching products into new markets and conducting supplier reviews and audits is desirable.
