Job Title: Supply Chain Manager – UK & Europe

Role Overview:

We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Supply Chain Manager to manage operations across our UK & European markets. This role will serve as a critical interface between our India HQ, testing laboratories & local distribution partners. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day supply chain activities while also leading strategic projects to enhance visibility, cost efficiency, and automation across our supply network.

Strategic Projects:

The role will involve taking leadership of the following critical, high-impact projects in the first 12–18 months:

  1. Supply Chain Visibility Initiative:
  2. Develop and implement a framework to provide end-to-end visibility across the supply chain (from manufacturing and shipping to quality release and distribution).
  3. 3PL Optimization:
  4. Evaluate and identify qualified, cost-effective 3PL partners for existing and new markets with a focus on driving logistics cost savings and service improvements.
  5. EDI-Based Ordering Setup in DTM market
  6. Lead the design and rollout of an EDI-enabled ordering process for DTM market in collaboration with local partners, commercial teams, and IT, enhancing automation and order accuracy.

Supply chain operations

  • Manage end-to-end supply chain operations across manufacturing, quality release, warehousing, and distribution for UK and Europe
  • Act as the primary liaison between India HQ and EU stakeholders for production, dispatch planning, and shipment execution.
  • Oversee import/export logistics, customs documentation, local batch release, and inventory management
  • Handle coordination with contract manufacturers (CMOs), third-party logistics (3PLs), and re-packaging vendors
  • Ensure compliance with GDP and EU pharma regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as Regulatory, Quality, Finance, and Commercial for smooth product movement and launches
  • Analyse and optimize inventory levels to support forecast accuracy and service levels across markets
  • Generate supply chain metrics, dashboards, and periodic performance reports for local and global leadership

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, Pharmacy, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical supply chain operations, preferably in a global or regional role
  • Experience managing EU import/export compliance, batch release, and GDP standards
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-border operations, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and SCM planning tools like IBP
  • Strong analytical mindset and hands-on experience with supply chain transformation or cost-reduction initiatives

Skills:

  • Project management experience
