About the Role

This is a critical leadership position, where you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our Supply Chain Function, ensuring its alignment with our strategic goals. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Chain Manager with a passion for driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional results.

Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team and Managing Director, you will oversee all aspects of supply chain operations, including logistics, inventory management, and demand forecasting. This role requires a collaborative approach to managing distribution partners, maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers, and implementing cost-effective strategies to ensure service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and inspire the supply chain team, fostering strong communication and motivation.
2. Develop and implement logistics plans, tracking inbound and outbound goods.
3. Manage inventory of raw materials and finished goods, optimising stock levels.
4. Collaborate with customers and procurement teams to meet sales demand efficiently.
5. Coordinate short- and long-term forecasts, implementing strategies to maintain a 100% service level.
6. Conduct regular meetings with customer supply chain teams to ensure data accuracy and effective delivery planning.
7. Partner with Sales and Production Planning teams to analyse and respond to forecast demand.
8. Oversee logistics and distribution partners, measuring performance against KPIs.
9. Drive the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure operational alignment.

About You

1. A minimum of 4 years' experience in supply chain management, ideally in food manufacturing, with proven team leadership skills.
2. Proficiency in IT systems, including planning tools, databases, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), and S&OP software.
3. Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics, including fresh and frozen supply chains.
4. Understanding of financial metrics and KPI management.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a positive approach to stakeholder engagement.
6. Experience managing inventory across multiple sites, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Familiarity with food safety and quality control procedures.
8. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to present data for demand forecasting and supply planning.
9. Experience planning and organising projects across the supply chain.
