Position Overview

As the Supply Chain Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in optimising the company’s production processes, reducing costs, and improving overall efficiency. You will be responsible for planning and managing daily, weekly, and monthly production activities, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products to customers. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of the company.

Responsibilities
  1. Plan and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly production activities, conducting in-depth analysis of stock levels and effectively managing orders and resources to minimise lead times and optimise capital utilisation.
  2. Drive cost reduction initiatives, including optimising capital requirements and improving production process efficiency.
  3. Ensure consistent product quality through effective management of operations and adherence to quality standards.
  4. Manage supplier performance and identify new suppliers as needed to maintain a robust supply chain.
  5. Collaborate with specialists and contribute to new processes, leveraging your passion for innovation to enhance product quality.
  6. Lead and mentor a team ensuring optimal resource allocation and productivity.
  7. Maintain compliance with all accreditation standards, ensuring meeting audit requirements.
Requirements
  1. Proven track record in management roles.
  2. Extensive experience in delivering complex, time-critical supply chain logistics in highly competitive environments.
  3. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate procurement and shopfloor teams.
  4. Expertise in identifying and cultivating relationships with suppliers from diverse regions.
  5. Proficiency in negotiation and planning to maximise efficiency and profit margins through effective cost management and just-in-time production.
  6. Comprehensive knowledge of planning, procurement techniques, management processes, warehousing, transportation, shopfloor management, and quality assurance/control systems.
  7. Experience working with and understanding international business cultures.
  8. Willingness to travel.
