Job Role: Supply Chain Manager

Hours: Monday to Friday (08:30am - 17:00pm and Friday 08:30am - 14:30pm)

Salary: Extremely Competitive (Negotiable based on experience)

Currently, we have an amazing opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to work for a leading PVC manufacturer in Halifax. You will be overseeing the smooth running of the entire supply chain, from supplier relations to inventory control. The role will be responsible for the development and improvement of supply chain processes, driving operational excellence and achieving high service levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement efficient systems for tracking and communication throughout the supply chain.
2. Reduce lead times and improve overall efficiency.
3. Build strong, long-lasting relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring alignment with our ISO 9001 quality standards.
4. Manage inventory control and demand planning using proven methods.
5. Implement a robust demand management process.
6. Support the implementation of planning tool software.
7. Work to reduce costs while maintaining margins.
8. Champion continuous improvement initiatives.
9. Oversee clear communication and information flow from suppliers, including pricing and updates.
10. Mentor supply chain team members to achieve both business and personal objectives, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
11. Ensure that Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards are adhered to, including the requirements of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

1. Previous Supply Chain management experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment is essential.
2. Exceptional organisational and multi-tasking skills.
3. Highly skilled in data analysis and reporting.
4. Analytical mindset with strong business acumen.
5. Previous SAP experience is essential.
6. IT literate, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
