Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager for our Poole Bakery site. You will lead end-to-end supply chain, balancing demand, production capacity and inventory to deliver excellent service while driving efficiency and cost performance.

You will oversee demand and production planning, materials management and S&OP processes, working closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement and Finance to optimise stock and service.

Qualifications

• Significant supply chain leadership experience in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong planning and forecasting expertise in complex manufacturing environments.
• Experience leading S&OP, supply review and inventory management processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain activities for Poole Bakery site.
• Drive demand planning, production planning and inventory management.
• Lead monthly S&OP and supply review meetings.
• Ensure robust forecasting and material planning processes.
• Manage stock, working capital and inventory accuracy.
• Deliver service levels through effective SCM and cross-functional collaboration.
• Identify opportunities to improve capacity utilisation and OTIF.
• Develop KPI dashboards and use data for continuous improvement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team.

We're looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our Poole Bakery leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning-focused supply chain professional who thrives on balancing customer demand, operational capability and inventory performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Whilst the role has responsibility across the end-to-end supply chain, including warehousing and logistics, we're particularly interested in individuals with strong expertise in production planning, demand forecasting, materials management and S&OP. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the site has the right materials, capacity and plans in place to deliver outstanding customer service whilst driving efficiency and cost performance.

What you'll be doing

• Leading all supply chain activities across the Poole Bakery site.
• Driving demand planning, production planning and inventory management processes.
• Leading monthly S&OP and supply review meetings to align customer demand with operational capability.
• Ensuring robust forecasting and material planning processes are in place.
• Managing stock levels, working capital and inventory accuracy.
• Delivering excellent service levels through effective supply chain management.
• Working closely with Operations, Commercial, Procurement, Finance and Technical teams.
• Identifying opportunities to improve capacity utilisation, reduce waste and improve OTIF performance.
• Developing KPI dashboards and using data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Leading and developing a high-performing supply chain team.

What we're looking for

• Significant supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong planning and forecasting expertise, ideally within a complex manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading S&OP, supply review and inventory management processes.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and data-driven decision making.
• A track record of improving service, stock management and operational performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience leading and developing multifunctional teams.
