Qualifications

  • Experience of the full ITT process in previous roles.

Job Description

A leading infrastructure contractor is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join their team based in Falmer.

The main objective of the role is to deliver the procurement strategy for a portfolio of regional water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

You will:

  • Lead and develop a small material buying administration team.
  • Manage supplier negotiations and monitor the performance of the supply chain.
  • Resolve operational challenges with the team and supply chain.- Achieve cost reduction, OTIF delivery and compliance targets.
  • Deliver the procurement requirements of senior operational / site team stakeholders.
  • Ensure procurement activities are aligned with central group supply chain policies and procedures.

Managing medium to large material packages worth £50k to £10m.

Candidate Requirements

Minimum of 3+ year’s strategy procurement experience for a main contractor or subcontractor across the built environment.

Ideally you will currently be working as a Senior Buyer, or an experienced Category Buyer who is looking for progression.

Must have experience of the full ITT process in current or past roles.
