Qualifications

  • Experience in Supply Chain buying/planning, particularly in Food & Drink/FMCG manufacturing.
  • Warehouse and forklift experience preferred.

  • Manage and coordinate raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Conduct stock-taking and inventory checks.
  • Create and manage purchase orders and administrative tasks.

Job description

Join our busy Logistics Team as a Supply Chain Manager and become part of an iconic Cornish business. In this role, you will ensure no out-of-stock lines and plan materials according to production needs.

Salary & Hours

£40,000 - £50,000 per year
40 hours per week, Monday - Friday (Some weekends required)

Responsibilities
  • Manage raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and merchandise on site
  • Assist with stock rotation and efficient material utilization to minimize waste
  • Place orders for production materials within supplier lead-times to prevent shortages
  • Plan inbound deliveries to meet production schedules and confirm delivery dates with suppliers
  • Conduct regular stock-taking and inventory checks with high accuracy
  • Coordinate production plans with management
  • Create scheduling processes to meet production goals and hygiene requirements
  • Generate production reports for decision-making (plan vs. actual, inventory costs, supplier performance)
  • Create purchase orders and perform administrative tasks as needed
  • Manage CHEP movements and audit accuracy
  • Coordinate returns of empty kegs with external customers
  • Perform other tasks as requested by Directors
Experience & Skills
  • Supply Chain buying/planning experience, especially in Food & Drink/FMCG manufacturing
  • Warehouse and forklift experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with seasonal demand

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational abilities
  • Intermediate Excel and MRP/ERP skills
Qualifications
  • Forklift license (Desirable)
  • CIPS Level 4 or above (Desirable)
