The Company

For well over a century, this organisation has been providing its products into the Retail, Food Service, Catering and Wholesale, Bakery, Confectionery, Snack, and Manufacturing sectors. With multiple sites across the UK, they develop private label ranges for high street retail as well as supplying raw ingredients to manufacturers across Europe.

The Role

This position requires an established Supply Chain Manager to ensure optimum service levels and to support and motivate your team. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop supply chain strategy to maximise customer satisfaction
  • Manage 3PL logistics and outside warehousing
  • Recruit, train, and lead your stock, SOP, and forecasting team, circa 10 members
  • Monitor all inventory records, including those with 3PLs, ensuring rotation and minimising stock write-offs
  • Work closely with cross-functional departments
Your Skills & Experience

To be considered, you should have:

  • A background in food manufacturing and successfully managing supply chain teams
  • Solid experience managing 3PL providers
  • ERP experience with Advanced Excel (analysis, forecasting, reporting)
  • Experience leading continuous improvement projects
  • Proven ability to achieve service levels
