Job description

Supply Chain Manager required.

Role: Supply Chain Manager - aerospace department

Location: Derby

Salary: Up to 60,000

Hours: 7am/8am start, finishing at 4pm/5pm Monday to Thursday, and 12:00 on Fridays

Holidays: 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year including bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks after 1 year of continuous service

Overview

Join a first-class precision engineering business manufacturing components via CNC Machining, Sheet Metal, and Fabrication. We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop the customer and supply chain processes.

Accountabilities
  1. Main contact for all customer order demands
  2. Monitor and manage sales order books
  3. Identify potential obsolete stock/material issues
  4. Coordinate with Manufacturing Managers on delivery issues
  5. Build relationships with customers and suppliers to improve service quality
  6. Manage supplier relationships and operational performance
  7. Implement category/supplier strategies and provide performance inputs
  8. Develop and manage the purchasing team for high performance
  9. Support supply chain audits and risk mitigation practices
Candidate Profile

Desirable but not essential qualifications include experience in manufacturing, machining, sheet metal, fabrication, or similar, and previous leadership roles in supply chain management. All applications are welcome and will be considered individually.

Commutable from Castle Donington, Derby, Loughborough, Long Eaton, and surrounding areas
