Job summary

Real Recruitment Solutions in Bournemouth is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to oversee supplier relationships, pricing and the day-to-day efficiency of the supply chain. This role is office-based in Bournemouth.

You will manage supplier networks, negotiate pricing and support the Sales team with quotations and tender opportunities while collaborating with Sales and Operations to meet customer needs and improve margins.

Qualifications

• Experience in managing supply chains and supplier relationships.
• Pricing and tender support experience is required.
• Strong procurement understanding and margin management.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with our extensive network of suppliers.
• Negotiate supplier pricing and secure competitive buy rates.
• Review supplier performance, service levels and availability.
• Support Sales with pricing, quotations and tender opportunities.
• Coordinate with Sales and Operations to meet customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance and margins.
• Monitor supplier costs and ensure appropriate follow-up.

SALARY: GBP40,000 - GBP45,000 plus commission.

We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join a lovely family run business in Bournemouth. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within a dynamic and growing business, managing supplier relationships, pricing, service performance and the day‑to‑day effectiveness of the supply chain.

The key areas of the role of Supply Chain Manager are:

• -Managing and developing relationships with our extensive network of waste management suppliers
• -Negotiating supplier pricing and ensuring competitive buy rates are secured
• Reviewing supplier performance, service levels and availability
• -Supporting the Sales Team with pricing, quotations and tender opportunities
• -Working closely with Sales and Operations to ensure customer requirements can be delivered effectively
• -Identifying opportunities to improve supplier performance, service quality and commercial margins
• -Monitoring supplier costs and supporting effective margin management
• -Managing supplier queries, resolving service issues and ensuring appropriate follow-up
• -Supporting the onboarding, review and ongoing management of suppliers
• -Maintaining accurate supplier and pricing information across company systems
• -Providing commercial and administrative support across the wider business where required

The role is predominantly office-based, with the Supply Chain Manager working from the office in Bournemouth.
