Job Description

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team, including 3 direct reports and 2 indirect reports.
• Improve procurement processes for goods and services to ensure efficiency.
• Implement negotiation strategies to secure cost-effective, mutually beneficial partnerships with customers and suppliers.
• Train team members and staff to enhance supply chain knowledge.
• Prepare and present supply chain updates for internal and client meetings.
• Identify risks and opportunities affecting the business.
• Participate in weekly meetings to plan and manage spending.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment meeting quality standards.
• Maintain well-organized yard and accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, and other departments outside SCM.

Key Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Contracts Management, or Finance.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within Telecoms, Technology, or Utilities industries.
• Strong understanding of UK Supply Chain Law.
• Experience with SAP is highly advantageous.
• Experience with e-procurement and supply chain systems.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience in supply chain and procurement teams.
