What is an Apprenticeship?

Apprenticeships are Government-funded, work-based training programmes for recruiting full-time people ages 16+ (there is no upper age limit) and providing them with the opportunity to combine ‘on the job' training with a nationally recognised qualification. Job Requirements

What is Supply Chain?
Everything we touch, from consumer goods we eat to the beds we sleep in has taken a journey through a Supply Chain – it is the invisible web ensuring we have what we need when we need it.

We connect all the steps needed to turn raw materials into a finished customer product. It ensures that raw materials are sourced and made available on time for manufacturing through to delivery, ensuring that the goods are available where and when they are needed.

A smooth Supply Chain helps save time, reduce costs, improve sustainability, and increase customer satisfaction which is essential for success in today's competitive climate.

Job Requirements – what do you need from me?
• You may not know much about Supply Chain or Logistics but you are naturally inquisitive about how things work and curious about how to make things better.
• You are able to demonstrate a methodical and thorough approach to work (you are definitely a completer-finisher).
• Supply Chain is often about mitigating challenges, so you have excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to look at problems from different viewpoints.
• The role of apprentice will require you to be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills whether on the phone, in person, or virtually.
• You will be a motivated, hardworking individual with excellent planning and organisational skills, preferably highly skilled in Excel.
• We work as a team, pulling together and you will also have the opportunity to work by yourself.
• Data plays a key role in everything we do so analytical skills and financial analysis will be part of your daily routine.

Successful candidates will ideally have achieved, or expect to achieve at least 5 GCSE's - including Math and English - Grade A-C or 4-9.
