Job summary

Cathcart Technology in Liverpool is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a 6-month contract. You will lead complex, technology-focused projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring governance and successful outcomes.

Key requirements include strong stakeholder management, risk control, and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The role is onsite in Liverpool, three days per week, with a daily rate of 400 GBP outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering projects within a complex business or technology environment.
• Experience delivering supply chain-related projects, ideally within a retail environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience managing multiple priorities, risks and dependencies.
• Solid understanding of project governance and change management principles.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to delivery and closure.
• Develop project plans, timelines, governance structures and resource requirements.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes.
• Lead project meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums.
• Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Provide clear reporting and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders.
• Support the implementation of new processes and ways of working.
• Ensure projects adhere to governance, compliance and documentation standards.
