Job summary

Cathcart Associates Group Ltd in Liverpool is seeking an IT Project Manager for a 6-month contract. The role requires leading complex, technology-focused initiatives with emphasis on governance, delivery readiness and stakeholder engagement.

The position offers 3 onsite days per week in Liverpool and outside IR35. You will manage full lifecycle projects, develop plans, oversee risks and dependencies, and report to sponsors and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering projects within a complex business or technology environment.
Experience delivering supply chain-related projects, ideally within a retail environment.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience managing multiple priorities, risks and dependencies.
Solid understanding of project governance and change management principles.
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

Manage projects through the full lifecycle, from initiation to delivery and closure
Develop project plans, timelines governance structures and resource requirements
Manage risks, issues, dependencies and scope changes
Lead project meetings, workshops and stakeholder forums
Work closely with business and technology teams to ensure successful delivery
Provide clear reporting and updates to sponsors and senior stakeholders
Support the implementation of new processes and ways of working
Ensure projects adhere to governance, compliance and documentation standards
