Job description

Position Description:

This role has two main elements:

  1. Supply Planning: To develop production schedules for assigned products to meet customer requirements, understanding planning and replenishment processes and systems like SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and PPDS. Responsibilities include ensuring contract manufacturers meet MPS, resolving constraints across operations, labs, QC, warehouse, and shipping, and managing relationships across supply chain functions. The role also involves inventory management, setting targets, minimizing write-offs, and participating in supply chain projects.
  2. Inventory Management: To support financial inventory oversight within the EEM organization, improve processes, identify cost opportunities, prevent write-offs, manage slow movers, and ensure compliance with SOPs, SOX, and GxP. The role includes establishing communication channels, monitoring progress, and escalating issues.

Functions, Duties, Tasks:

  • Anticipate and resolve capacity constraints, escalate major issues.
  • Run 'What If' scenarios to optimize the master schedule, assess impacts of lead-time reductions, alternative raw materials, and equipment.
  • Own and improve CORRS performance for assigned products, influence contract manufacturers with metrics.
  • Participate in global and local supply chain initiatives, coordinate product launches, manage projects.
  • Supervise changes in artwork, packaging, and internal processes to ensure timely implementation.
  • Ensure processes for evaluating write-off risks are in place, drive solutions, support compliance and audits.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in GMP environments.
  • Ability to balance interests across functions like Finance, Quality, Technical Services.
  • Proven ability to challenge and change the status quo.
  • Planning experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP IBP, and PPDS preferred.

Additional Preferences:

  • Further education in Quality Management, Supply Chain Management (APICS/CIPS), Materials Management, Logistics, Import/Export, Change Management, Pharmaceutical Production, Packaging.
  • Understanding of SOX (Sarbanes Oxley).
  • Strong understanding of financial and supply chain processes.
