Job Description: As an Inventory Analyst at STI Service Today, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our inventory management processes and ensuring accurate stock levels and prices to support our operations. You will be responsible for the following areas;

  • Monitoring inventory movements
  • Accurately capturing and maintaining data
  • Implementing strategies to minimize stock discrepancies and maximize efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Service Titan software to maintain and update inventory records, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and reconcile discrepancies between physical inventory and records.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, track consumption patterns, and forecast future inventory needs.
  • Update and manage truck templates through collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with purchasing and logistics teams to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts or excess inventory.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Generate reports and present findings to management, providing insights and recommendations for inventory optimization.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and regular physical inventory checks.
  • Ensure price list accuracy and alignment with negotiated terms for all STI locations while reporting any pricing inconsistencies to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in inventory management to propose continuous improvements.
  • Verify receipts accuracy between Service Titan and Intacct & resolve any export errors
  • Record system-related errors as a result of human error and escalate to management through weekly reporting.
  • Adjust stocking levels in warehouses to reflect annual usage based on historical data on a quarterly basis.
  • Create and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Review requests and assign Taxonomy for new material additions to Service Titan.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Analyst or similar role, with specific experience using Service Titan.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (Service Titan experience strongly preferred).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team of HVAC professionals
  • Strong background in service operations, customer service, or sales (minimum 3 years in management)
  • Hands-on knowledge of HVAC systems and field operations
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Technically competent with inventory, warehouse procedures, and CRM/field service platforms (ServiceTitan experience a plus)
  • Comfortable balancing fieldwork and office-based responsibilities
  • Willingness to work extended hours, weekends, and travel to support team needs

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed for site visits or branch support
