Job summary

Sanofi in Reading is offering a 12-month Supply Chain Intern role in Customer Fulfillment & Demand Planning, starting July 2027. It is a full-time, hybrid position (3 days on site).

You will support end-to-end order processing, forecasting, inventory management, reporting, and process improvement in a global biopharma setting. You will work with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain product availability, analyze data for trends, and learn ERP tools such as SAP.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with data to identify trends and insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness to learn ERP and planning tools such as SAP and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end order processing and coordinate with logistics providers and teams.
• Prepare and analyze supply chain performance reports; identify trends and risks.
• Monitor inventory levels and support stock availability.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and resolving stock discrepancies.
• Support demand planning by reviewing data and contributing to forecasting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain to maintain product availability.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Support end-to-end order processing and coordinate activities with logistics providers, internal hubs, and commercial teams.
• Prepare and analyze supply chain performance reports and identify trends, risks, or opportunities for improvement.
• Monitor inventory levels and support activities to prevent product shortages and improve stock availability.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and the resolution of stock discrepancies.
• Support demand planning activities by reviewing demand and supply data and contributing to forecasting processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams to help maintain product availability and service levels.
• Contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives across supply chain operations.

About you

• To be currently pursuing a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data to identify trends and insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong listening skills and the ability to gather and connect information from multiple sources.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong systems aptitude and willingness to learn ERP and planning tools, such as SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other common business applications.
