Supply Chain Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Specialist

Macclesfield - 12 months - £500 per day - outside IR35

The Supply Chain Interactive Response Technology (IRT) Specialist is accountable for delivering Continuous Improvement of IRT Standards and studies, which can include:

  • Inputting and completing Technical Standards documentation
  • Completing Risk Assessment
  • Authoring/approving test scripts as required
  • Developing and delivering training material on standards
  • Creating internal SOPs to document and define the process
  • Representing Global Clinical Supply Chain in governance interactions, both internal and external

The Supply Chain IRT Specialist will act as a role model and expert consultant to IRT Specialists within Clinical Operations, which will involve:

  • Delivery of training and onboarding support for IRT Specialists & mentoring of new team members
  • Leading development and process activities within the team and across teams, such as knowledge sharing activities and information sessions
  • Consultancy to internal and external groups for both study solutions and process development, as well as assessing programme strategy and proposing solutions to meet programme needs
  • Process owner for IRT processes/sub-processes
  • Driving and role modeling excellence in delivery in IRT set-up and change management and associated values and behaviours, and developing excellence in others through their interactions with them.

Skills needed:

  • In-depth knowledge of IRT systems and interactions
  • Knowledge of R&D Supply Chain and processes relevant to investigational products
  • Project Management experience
  • Risk identification and management
