Job description
Overview

Major supplier of ambient fruit-based chilled products, with its commercial operations based in Hammersmith, seeks a Supply Chain Administrator to support growth. The role reports to the Supply Manager and involves sustaining all activity and involvement in selected projects.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all orders processing
  • Be the principal interlocutor for the customers at depot
  • Liaise with customers and logistics suppliers to manage delivery discrepancies
  • Report discrepancies with an improvement plan
  • Analyse the reason for wastage and recharge back to suppliers within agreed terms and conditions
  • Responsible for all invoicing
  • Understand wastage levels and manage the sale of wastage to a broker at a good price, or destroy it cost-effectively
  • Report on department KPIs including service level, wastage and invoicing lead time
  • Manage stock coming from factories into the continent
Requirements / Skills
  • Experience of working or studying within the Supply Chain
  • Professional maturity with the ability to influence, convince and motivate others within the business and with retailer partners
  • Commercial awareness and personal attributes: tenacity, ability to work under challenging deadlines, adaptability in a changing environment, problem-solving and creative thinking with limited resources
  • Excellent communication style
  • Strong communication, practical thinking, attention to detail and data interpretation
  • Hard-working, highly organized and efficient
