Role Description

The purpose of this role is to lead on Supply Chain Enablement, Performance and Data for the Procurement and Supplier Management Function within the Procurement Development and Analytics Team.

You will work with the Head of Procurement Development and Analytics to define and drive the governance, oversight and enablement framework that is deployed across Procurement & Supplier Management.

You will set the digital strategy to ensure we have fit for purpose systems and technology ensuring that Allianz UK meets all Regulatory and Allianz Group requirements, and lead on the collation, development and presentation of the overall Procurement & Supplier Management performance data and reporting.

This is a Hybrid role - multi site working is available, specific location for this role can be discussed at interview.

Salary Information

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Circa - £70k

About You

  • Enable the Procurement & Supplier Management Function to have consistent and best practical tools, techniques and ways of working
  • Oversee Procurement and Supplier Management transformation initiatives leveraging technology and automation
  • Lead development of the Procurement and Supplier Management SharePoint site and ensure one source of truth aligning reporting
  • Work closely with the COO pillar and safeguarding functions to ensure we meet the required standards.
  • Develop benchmarks and scorecards to be used for continuous improvement
  • Provide market insight and performance data and analytics to Procurement and Supplier Management
  • Lead collaboration projects to continuously review processes, tools and practices for automation and streamlining opportunities
  • Lead on internal audit and compliance actions for Procurement and Supplier Management as required
  • Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices within procurement activities to align with Allianz's Global Sustainability strategy

Essential Skills

  • Analytical skills and experience in performance management and reporting

Desirable Skills

  • Ideally educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
  • Professional qualification e.g. MCIPS/FCIPS or Data Apprenticeship
  • Understanding of TPRM
  • Understanding of PRA and FCA Regulations
