The Amcor Specialty Cartons (ASC) Supply Chain Director is a pivotal strategic leader charged with transforming and future-proofing the end-to-end supply chain across the dynamic and diverse Europe-Asia (EurAsia) region. Reporting directly to the VP of Europe & Asia, this role is uniquely positioned to drive regional integration, operational excellence, and bold innovation across all facets of Supply Chain Management.

The Supply Chain Director will champion the development and execution of a robust, regionally harmonized Supply Chain Team process that fuels smarter forecasting, enabled by agile decision-making, and cross-functional alignment.. By embedding planning as a core strategic function, the Director ensures optimal inventory management, improved service levels, and accelerated responsiveness to market volatility. This role leads both the centralized regional supply chain function and a network of plant-level supply chain teams. The Director plays a central role in driving digital transformation and assisting in the enhancement of ASC’s S&OP business process in order to enable the supply chain resilience working closely with cross functional leaders. Beyond operational improvement, the Director defines and executes a future-focused strategy that positions the supply chain as a sustainable, competitive advantage. By fostering a culture of continuous improvement, predictive analytics, and end-to-end visibility, the Supply Chain Director accelerates speed-to-market, reduces complexity, and delivers differentiated customer value.

Success in this role requires the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams across geographies, lead through influence, and shape a forward-looking supply chain that fuels ASC’s growth ambitions and sustainability commitments.

  • Transformational Supply Chain Strategy & Execution
  • Develop, communicate, and execute a forward-looking, end-to-end supply chain strategy that aligns with ASC EurAsia’s business vision, growth ambitions, and sustainability agenda.
  • Lead the transformation of organizational structures, capabilities, and ways of working to enable a more integrated, scalable, and future-ready supply chain.
  • Champion strategic change initiatives, including process redesign, organizational realignment, and the adoption of next-generation practices to position the supply chain as a competitive advantage.
  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Demand Planning
  • Facilitate best-in-class S&OP process that delivers cross-functional alignment, demand & supply consensus, to support the ASC budgetary / strategic goals
  • Inventory & Capacity Optimization
  • Drive transformational improvements in inventory strategy and network planning to optimize working capital, reduce obsolescence, and improve service reliability.
  • Develop regional capacity models that anticipate future growth scenarios and enable proactive supply chain scaling.
  • Customer Service & Commercial Alignment
  • Were appropriate, define the order to cash processes to improve service performance, lead time accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives that deepen customer-centric thinking across the supply chain organization, shifting from reactive service to proactive value delivery.
  • People Leadership & Organizational Transformation
  • Lead the evolution of the supply chain function into a more strategic, analytics-enabled, and change-capable organization.
  • Inspire and develop talent across all levels, nurturing future leaders and instilling a culture of agility, accountability, and innovation.
  • Guide the development of new capabilities, including digital acumen, change leadership, and customer-focused thinking.
  • Technology & Data-Driven Innovation
  • Spearhead digital transformation across the supply chain by partnering with IT on the development and deployment of enabling technologies (e.g., Power BI, ERP, planning tools).
  • Accelerate the use of advanced analytics and AI-driven insights to support scenario planning, root cause analysis, and real-time performance management.
  • Financial Stewardship & Strategic Alignment
  • Transform cost management processes to enable more agile, insight-driven supply chain financial planning and forecasting.
  • Align operational plans and KPIs with business strategy, driving value creation and long-term performance improvement through measurable outcomes.
  • Regional Reporting and Analysis:
  • Oversee the supply chain central reporting and analysis function, leveraging data-driven insights to inform supply chain and operations decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support the development and coordination of Operations Budgets and Strategic plans
