Job description

A leader in the Aerospace sector is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Data Analyst to join their team in Wimborne supporting inventory optimisation and supply chain performance across multiple business areas.

  • Duration: 12 months
  • Location: Wimborne
  • Working Pattern: Hybrid
  • Pay: Competitive hourly rate

As a Supply Chain Data Analyst you'll play a key role in driving data-driven decisions to improve inventory health, support operations with KPI-focused insights, and optimise stock levels through advanced analytics and cross-functional collaboration.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth inventory analysis to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
  • Monitor and forecast inventory performance using tools such as Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle).
  • Analyse product demand and determine optimal min/max levels for parts and materials.
  • Drive reduction of aged, excess, and obsolete inventory across sites.
  • Collaborate with IT and internal teams to enhance system reporting and tracking of inventory KPIs.


Key Skills:

  • Strong background in inventory planning, supply chain analytics, or SCM.
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills (Power BI tools and ERP systems - SAP/Oracle)
  • Strong understanding of inventory valuation, forecasting models, and stock strategy.
  • Proven ability to present insights clearly and influence decision-making.
  • CPIM or APICS certification (desired).
