Job summary

Tailor Made Resources Limited currently invites applications for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team handling fresh produce supply to UK retailers. The role covers storage, distribution, procurement, and forecast management, with a focus on stock control and profitability.

The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and involves close collaboration with Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure on-time, pre-planned deliveries.

Qualifications

• Experience in stock management systems or ERP; Prophet experience preferred.
• Stock planning and supply chain experience in fresh produce is desirable.
• Excellent IT and numeracy skills; proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage product storage, inventory, packing and distribution.
• Administer inventory ordering and procurement; support profitability.
• Maintain forecast accuracy and track inventory records.
• Coordinate sourcing strategy and communicate it to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with sales and supply chain to ensure pre-planned supply, adjusting for external factors.
• Work with Warehouse team to manage stock arrivals and storage.

We currently offer a fantastic opportunity to join a successful Fresh Produce supplier, who are at the forefront of their product category within the industry, supplying UK Retailers with the best fresh produce from Worldwide Growers. Due to continued success, we are delighted to offer the opportunity of Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team.

Working as part of a dedicated team to ensure the smooth supply of Fresh Produce across 7 days a week, the position of Supply Chain Coordinator will report to the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with Procurement and Commercial colleagues becoming fundamental in the success of fresh produce product supply to key retail customers.

Working pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week with 2 days off. Weekend working will be required on a regular basis. Time Off in Lieu (TOIL) is provided for weekend and bank holiday working, where required

• Manage product storage, inventory, packing & distribution.
• Responsible for administering inventory ordering, procurement and supporting profitability.
• Helping maintain customer forecasts ensuring forecast accuracy whilst keeping an accurate record of the inventory.
• Communicate and maintain the coordinated sourcing mission and strategy.
• Work closely with the sales / supply chain teams to ensure all sales volumes are supplied and pre-planned accounting for any external factors such as vessel changes.
• Work closely with the Warehouse team to manage stock arrivals and the safe storage of stock

We require

• Previous experience within a similar key support role, with exposure to stock Management systems or ERP, examples Prophet
• Stock Planning and Supply Chain experience within Fresh Produce is ideal
• Attention to detail, with excellent IT and numeracy skills; Microsoft, Excel
• Confident ability to work with all colleagues at all levels positively
