Our client based in West Drayton is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their growing team.
This is a fully office-based role.
Overall Job Purpose
- Support the business with project management from the production phase through to shipment for key accounts.
- Responsible for end-to-end supply chain management of manufactured products from source to shelf, ensuring quality products reach customers satisfactorily.
- Support Production Coordinator and Sales team in sales support, supply chain, and other ad hoc work related to supply chain and procurement.
- Maintain good customer and merchandiser relationships.
- Maintain quality, compliance, and information on manufactured products and product integrity.
- Maintain and update product costing models.
- Maintain good supplier relationships.
- Support production team and department with major supplier relationships.
- Maintain optimal stock levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth running of the inbound supply chain, specifically fulfillment of inbound orders on time, within cost and quality requirements.
- Maintain and refine demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels for order fulfillment while minimizing stock holding costs.
- Maintain and improve relationships with freight forwarders, monitoring their performance and costs.
- Oversee customs declarations of imported goods and other relevant items.
- Assist in designing and monitoring KPIs such as procurement accuracy, stock and demand accuracy.
- Maintain regular contact with 3PL warehouses and distribution suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Manage end-to-end logistics of manufactured products.
- Monitor and improve logistics provider performance.
- Maintain quality and compliance information on manufactured products.
- Maintain sufficient stock levels throughout the year and manage stock reports.
- Support production coordinators and NAMs/SNAMs in project management and key account activities.
- Assist in customer and merchandiser meetings and provide detailed product information for key accounts.
- Support the Head of Department in building relationships with smaller suppliers to improve performance and reduce costs.
- Resolve disputes with suppliers or customer support issues as they arise.
- Support all supply chain and sales activities, including new product development, network development, performance monitoring, and negotiations.
- Maintain and update data on manufactured goods for communication and ease of access.
- Build, refine, and maintain costing models for pricing and margins.
- Use costing models and research to develop pricing strategies in collaboration with SMT.
- Build relationships across the business to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Operate as a Subject Matter Expert in logistics, warehouse management, costing, and pricing.
- Maintain key stakeholder relationships at various levels.
